So farewell then, Reg Varney.....

Veteran entertainer Reg Varney passed away this afternoon at the age of 92 following a short illness. Mr Varney was residing in a nursing home in Budleigh Salterton, Devon.

His most famous role was as Stan Butler in the 1970's comedy On The Buses.
