The new Mayor for London has scrapped his predecessor's plan to send a bus to China for the Olympic Games. Ex Mayor, Ken Livingston, said sending the bus to the games were part of a scheme to regenerate east London.However, Boris Johnson has responded by saying that it should be more about getting children into sports and deemed the scheme a publicity stunt and a "ludicrous waste of public money."
Unfortunately, London's tax payers will still have to pay more than half the £450,000 costs in organising the project and recruiting the eight drivers.
