A two-year deal has been offered as follows:
Year 1 (April 2008-March 2009)
An increase of 45p per hour (or Inflation, whichever is greater) to all rates but also an increase of 7 minutes to the unpaid meal break allowance (currently 45 mins) to 52 minutes. This will place drivers on the following pay rates:
£8.63 - Senior (employed pre 1995)*
£8.00 - citi (employed post 1995)
£8.20 - National Express
£8.25 - Outstation (March, Oundle & Holbeach Drove)*

£9.13 - Senior (employed pre 1995)*
£8.50 - citi (employed post 1995)
£8.70 - National Express
£8.75 - Outstation (March, Oundle & Holbeach Drove)*

The evening allowance applied to citi duties seeing time-and-a-half from 2130hrs to be brought forward to 2100hrs and applied to all duties (i.e. not just citi duties) finishing after 2230hrs, including the late-Spare duty.Sick pay is unchanged at 65% of the hourly rate for each year, based on a basic 39 hour week.National Express drivers have been given an additional offer for comparison: a 1-year deal of 28p per hour increase with 'no strings attached', taking that rate of pay to £8.03.Training Rate will increase by 10p per hour in Year 1 to £6.50 per hour and will remain unchanged during Year 2.* - ringfenced pay rates
