This includes info about the much reviled plans for the Leigh-Salford-Manchester guided busway which is apparently now back on track (excuse the pun). It is inviting comments from everyone.

To download a plan and find details of how to comment go to www.gmpte.com/LTP3sueleesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1988587131543641843.post-14513450928105999392010-10-12T12:40:13.212+01:002010-10-12T12:40:13.212+01:00I live in the area of Tyldesley which the route pa...I live in the area of Tyldesley which the route passes through. I thought it was a daft idea to consider a guided bus route, it would be better to get a Metrolink line installed, yes it would cost more but it is certainly somthing which I would use for a quicker route to Wigan or Manchester. If thats a non-starter then they should consider using the route as a bypass road for Tyldesley and Atherton. Tyldesley is very congested at busy time's of the day, the traffic calming and illegal parking in the town doesn't help.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
