CBW for £51

If you've not seen the adverts in recent editions of BUSES then take more notice or go out and buy the latest copy! The leading bus industry trade magazine, CBW - Coach & Bus Weekly - is purchasable for £51, a saving of £18 off the normal, annual subscription fee.

CBW, unlike its main rival, routeone, does not give away free copies to anyone with an O Licence who requests one (a friend of mine has never requested a copy and yet is sent copies regularly!) and relies on its paying subscription base to ensure its survival. It knows that each and every one of its magazines is going to an individual (be they in a bus/coach company or not) who has requested it and is therefore interested and happy with its content.

The ratio of news & articles to adverts is greater in CBW than in routeone, with the latter's survival virtually wholly reliant on adverts (and perhaps the Confederation of Passenger Transport?) and if you're really being picky, the paper quality is superior with CBW.

The adverts in BUSES tell you precisely how to subscribe, but if you'd prefer to do it online then click here to visit their website. A phone number is also available for credit card payment: 01858 438782 (0870 830 4969 if you want to pay more to call)

We believe it's the best trade mag concentration on the bus and coach industry out there, and to receive each copy for only £1, it's an absolute bargain. (CW)
