News broke last week on the Peak District Locals Yahoo! Group that the decision to cease publication of most of its timetable books had been reversed by Derbyshire County Council. I've just been on Barry Doe's website and in his Special Announcement section this is also mentioned.
The April North East Derbyshire timetable book had not been produced though is hurriedly being assembled for publication very soon indeed and it also looked as if the July Mid & South Derbyshire book was to be the second to fall by the wayside, but again publication is now being made for July.
In a few years' time we'll be able to look back on the gap in production of the North East Derbyshire timetable book, those with long enough memories will know it was the result of the County Council's "moment of madness".
