Central Trains ceased to be as of Sunday 11 November 2007. The forthcoming LEYTR lists all the former Central Trains vehicles and how they were split between GoVia, Cross Country and East Midlands Trains. Taking the latter operation, parent operator Stagecoach has drafted in two trains from its South West Trains franchise, both in the Stagecoach Rail livery and are both Class 158 units - 158 883 & 158 890. The latter is depicted here in Skegness on the very first day of operation.
A Class 153 single unit train has been re-painted into Stagecoach Rail livery and has been operating out of Lincoln since the start of the new East Midlands Trains franchise, though we're not uploading a shot of this until it's featured on next year's front cover (along with 5 other excellent photographs depicting the transport on offer in the LEYTR area).
